There seem more than the usual London/New York links lately – Mini-Mayor was over visiting Red Ken (oh, and speaking to the Tory conference but there are, I am happy to report, no signs of Blackpool/New York links. Blackpool is all well and good but ya know. . . ) So, I’m thinking to myself, “Hello? What’s with all this, then?”And then I saw this picture in the New York Times.  

What does that remind me of, I thought. Got it! Just yesterday on the BBC website. Their rather marvelous Day in Pictures section. So, either it’s just a coincidence or it’s part of a cunning plan to gaslight New Yorkers and Londoners into thinking it’s all one and the same (or a flipped negative of them same). It won’t work though. No one could ever mistake Mini-Mayor for Red Ken.

Even less could they mix up Bloomberg with Boris should that hilarity come to pass.
