The Daily News reports that “a 34-year-old woman smoking a cigarette out of a window in midtown lost her balance and plunged four stories - but survived.”

Sadly, they missed the opportunity to use the headline: New York City smoking rate - and smokers - plummet! ⁽¹⁾

But as long as I was reading the Daily News (something I normally don’t do), I thought I’d poke around and see what else it had to offer. lad I did - ’cause otherwise, I’d have missed the news about Scott’s Pizza Tour. The paper reports that “Each Sunday, Scott’s Pizza Tour will sample the slices at a half-dozen of the city’s famed pie palaces like John’s in Greenwich Village and Totonno’s in Coney Island.” Sign me up!
