According to the MTA transit system facts and figures, the NYC city subway system has the largest subway car fleet in the world. Really? If they are so awash in cars, how about getting the 6 to show up a little more frequently in rush hour. It also states that all the subway cars and buses are air-conditioned. That may be so. Technically. But it states no where on the site what percentage of those airconditioners are working what percentage of the time.
